What we do?

COEO (rhymes with rodeo) means to come together. And that’s exactly what we do. We enable our fitness community to come together and connect. We’re a community centered around Boston’s best fitness instructors. Great stories. Breakthrough events. Bespoke partnerships. Lots of #positivebadassary

Origin story:

Our mission is to elevate and reward the incredible fitness instructors that bring our community together. COEO was founded by Scarlet Batchelor who, after training as a yoga instructor in 2017, realized in this wild and growing fitness industry that instructors do so much yet are underserved. Despite an unmatched hustle, there’s an opportunity to create a network richer than what an Instagram feed can provide. Scarlet joined forces with Hanna Yang shortly after conceiving of the idea. Hanna has served as a powerful creative voice for COEO and an awesome arbiter of trends and style.

Originally conceived as a studio-agnostic app where classes could be booked by instructor and personalized communities can be created, today Scarlet and Hanna are concentrating their efforts on building the reach of our community and finding unique ways to brings together instructors, brands and the community through differentiated and compelling events. We also serve as a platform for dialogue across instructors through our blog content and social media feeds.

If you’re an instructor, brand, or studio and want to connect with us please drop a line. We’d love to hear from you!

Hanna   Hanna Yang is all things creative for COEO. She is a recent graduate from Boston University College of Fine Arts, where along with her studies, she also taught indoor cycling. When Hanna's not behind the computer or camera, she is in the kitchen, at a spin class, or creating digital photo collages. Her biggest weakness is flaming hot cheetos, and her greatest strength is her stomach for flaming hot cheetos. Hanna is looking forward to an upcoming fly fishing trip with her sisters.
